BNSS 2023: Chapter XXXV: Section 503

(1) On a conviction under section 292, section 293, section 354 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Court may order the destruction of all the copies of the thing in respect of which the conviction was had, and which are in the custody of the Court or remain in the possession or power of the person convicted.
(2) The Court may, in like manner, on a conviction under section 272, section 273, section 274 or section 275 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, order the food, drink, drug or medical preparation in respect of which the conviction was had, to be destroyed.

(1) भारतीय न्याय संहिता, 2023 की धारा 292, धारा 293, धारा 354 के तहत दोषसिद्धि पर, न्यायालय उस चीज़ की सभी प्रतियों को नष्ट करने का आदेश दे सकता है जिसके संबंध में दोषसिद्धि हुई थी, और जो न्यायालय की हिरासत में हैं या दोषी व्यक्ति के कब्जे या शक्ति में रहते हैं।
(2) न्यायालय, इसी तरह, धारा 272, धारा 273, धारा 274 या धारा 275 के तहत दोषसिद्धि पर हो सकता है। भारतीय न्याय संहिता, 2023, उस भोजन, पेय, दवा या चिकित्सा तैयारी को नष्ट करने का आदेश देता है जिसके संबंध में दोषी ठहराया गया था।
